Recently I've been trying to figure out how to incorporate more technology into my lower level classes. This year I am teaching an upper level Spanish class that has been easy to incorporate technology on a daily basis, however the lower levels is always more challenging as we are still building their language skills. However, for my first year Spanish students I had them create a project online. I wanted them to use a digital collaborative tool, so they were able to choose between either Google slides or Storybird. This actually turned out really well! Students were creative, had a lot of fun and produced some pretty great projects. Although language wasn't 100% correct at all times, it didn't impede meaning and after only 6 weeks of Spanish I was impressed.
